This policy explains how R&G Digital Solutions handles personal information under the Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013 (POPIA). Having a policy does not by itself mean full legal compliance.
1. Information we collect
Only what you choose to give us: your name, business name, email address, phone number, package of interest and the message you send through our quote form, email or WhatsApp. If you become a client, we also hold billing and project details.
2. Why we use it
To respond to your enquiry, prepare a quotation, deliver and support our services, and manage billing. We only send marketing messages if you separately opt in, and you can opt out at any time.
3. Contact form and enquiries
Our quote form currently opens your own email app with your details filled in; nothing is stored on this website. Your enquiry reaches us only when you send that email.
4. Who receives your information
We do not sell your information. It may be processed by service providers we use, such as our email provider (Google Gmail), WhatsApp (Meta) if you message us there, and our website hosting provider. Some of these providers store data outside South Africa; we rely on providers bound by data-protection laws or agreements offering adequate protection.
5. Storage, retention and deletion
We keep enquiry information only as long as needed to respond and follow up, and client records as long as required for the service and legal or tax obligations. We then delete or anonymise it.
6. Security
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures, such as access-controlled accounts and secure (HTTPS) connections, to protect your information.
7. Your rights
You may ask to access, correct or delete your information, object to processing, or withdraw marketing consent. You may also lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator of South Africa (inforegulator.org.za).
8. Cookies and analytics
This website does not use advertising cookies. Our hosting platform may collect basic, aggregated visitor statistics (such as page views) to help us understand site usage.
